A documentary inspired by Ali Mazrui, when he commented on people going to Africa to see the animals without regard for the people living there! While living in Tanzania, I did this documentary to show how the Maasai people had been forced out of their traditional homeland to make way for the Ngora Ngora game park. I later added the stories of Namibia, Ghana, and Zanzibar people who underwent the same fate. Tanzania was unique in that the government upheld customary land rights, but the Maasai were still totally displaced.
